To create a large, functional space, the original bathroom was removed and the walls expanded into the hallway. This ultimately gave us plenty of space to work with and create an ideal room for the family. We chose pocket entry doors to maximize the square footage and remove the issue of leaving a clear area for the door swing. The original carpet was removed and replaced with porcelain tile throughout, making for easier maintenance and lessening potential damage in case of a flood.
