These are 5 of our favourite homes that were on the market in 2018.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>5.)<\/strong> While this home may not be big enough for a family, it\u2019s the perfect starter home for a young couple or retirees. Every inch of space is used well so it doesn\u2019t feel like you\u2019re missing anything. This is a great example of how to make a small home feel bigger.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/karry.ca\/karrys-take-big-price-tiny-living\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2245\" src=\"https:\/\/karry.ca\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/18-Karry-Blog1_Header-1024x465.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4.)<\/strong> If we had to pick an apartment, we\u2019d be more than happy living in this one. Views, space and a modern, open-concept layout tick all the boxes on today\u2019s design trends list. What design element from this loft would you use in your own home?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/karry.ca\/karrys-take-front-street-condo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2317\" src=\"https:\/\/karry.ca\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/18-Karry-Blog7_Header-1024x465.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3.)\u00a0<\/strong> If you can get past the obvious foibles of living directly above a transit line, this home is a real estate godsend! At its incredibly low asking price, the new owners are probably writing thank-you letters to the TTC! We have a feeling that there\u2019s few regrets about this purchase!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/karry.ca\/karrys-take-the-right-side-of-the-tracks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2353\" src=\"https:\/\/karry.ca\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/18-Karry-Blog9_Header-1-1024x465.jpg\" alt=\"Image of front of home\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00a02.)\u00a0<\/strong>Even with the buyer exceeding the asking price substantially, we\u2019d say this property was worth every cent. Homes with this much pastiche are becoming more and more valuable. The aesthetic appeal of the home paired with its incredible location gives us the sneaking suspicion that the buyer has little regrets about this one.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/karry.ca\/karrys-take-brick-is-back\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2323\" src=\"https:\/\/karry.ca\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/18-Karry-Blog8_Header-1024x465.jpg\" alt=\"Karrys Take Brick is Back\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00a01.)<\/strong>\u00a0 Not everyone can afford a home of this scale but that doesn\u2019t mean you can\u2019t take some ideas and make your own property justas luxurious.
